Where can I listen to 107.3 HFM Radio?

  • If you live in the area surrounding our studios in Gosnells, you can listen on your radio by tuning to 107.3 FM. As a Community Radio station our FM broadcast signal is limited to our LAP or Local Area Plan area. This covers most of the City of Gosnells, City of Armadale, Citty of Canning and part of the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.
  • So, you may not be able to get us on the FM band in all parts of Perth, but as you are already here on our website, you can just click on the “Listen Live” button in the top right or bottom right parts of your screen.
  • You can also live stream our broadcast using a bunch of radio streaming apps on your phone or in the car. We really love the free Community Radio Plus app but there are lots of other radio streaming apps that will allow you to listen to 107.3 HFM Radio from anywhere in the world. There are other free, and subscription based streaming apps but we have found the Community radio Plus app works in just about every country in the world and is really easy to use.
  • You can search for 107.3HFM or on some apps we may still be listed under our old name Heritage FM.

What kinds of music do you play on 107.3 HFM?

  • In 2023 the Committee decided to try something a little different and changed the daytime music policy to play 80’s music only from Monday to Friday between 6am and 6pm. This policy will be reviewed by the new Committee once elected at the next AGM.
  • Outside of these hours we have a growing list of speciality shows that cover all genres of music playing tracks from all eras. If you click on the program images on the Program Guide each show has a description of the music played and topics covered in the show.
  • 107.3 HFM has a long history of supporting WA musicians and continues to do this through a number of speciality shows how not only play music from local artists but also have members of these bands in the studio for interviews of live performances.
  • The current committee has committed to expanding this focus on local WA and wider Australian content and we hope to add more speciality shows moving forward. You can check out the details of current vacancies for presenters on our Volunteering Page if you think it might be something you would like to get involved with.

How can I get my music played on your station?

  • We love to play local West Australian songs as part of our general rotation. You can email your information and tracks to [email protected]. Please be patient once you have submitted your music, as all our presenters work full time and we receive lots of new music every day.
  • It is important to understand that radio stations cannot play your track from streaming platforms such as Spotify or Apple Music. We must have a file as a WAV or high quality mp3 to be able to play it on air.
  • Most of our speciality shows play lots of Australian artists and we even have a dedicated WA only music show called “In The Scene” which plays 100% local WA artists every Tuesday night. We hope to add more WA only shows in the future specialising in other genres such as country, punk, hardcore, jazz.
  • If you are an Australian musician, you can also access a wide network of community radio stations via the AMRAP https://amrap.org.au/ which is a free service.

Head over to the Volunteer page for more information or contact us for a chat.
  • We want the experience of volunteering at HFM to be a fun and rewarding one. When we have more people doing smaller jobs this is very achievable. We have volunteers who do as little as 2-3 hours per week and others who commit more hours because they can. We also have volunteers who just help out when we have a sausage sizzle a couple of times a year or come and hand out stickers at the Canning Show.
  • There is no better feeling than giving back to your community, simply because you can!
