Chinese Calligraphy

Learn the art of Chinese calligraphy in this hands-on workshop. Chinese calligraphy is an ancient and noble art form that transforms written characters into visual poetry. Using a brush, ink, and paper, you’ll learn how to create expressive strokes that capture the flow of energy, emotion, and thought. All materials are supplied, and children must be accompanied by an adult. This event is held on Saturday, 15th February 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Piara Waters Library, 352 Wright Rd, Piara Waters. These free sessions are open to anyone 8 years or older. Need help with your phone, tablet, or email? Digital Basics sessions are free, one-on-one, 30-minute sessions where a digital mentor can guide you through basic technology problems. Struggling to set up email or want to learn social media or video calls? We’ve got you covered! Sessions run Tuesdays from 4th February 2025, between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM at Seville Grove Library, 78 Champion Drive, Seville Grove.
