In The Scene was first broadcast on Tuesday 9th April 2024.
In The Scene broadcasts from 7pm to 9pm every Tuesday playing 100% WA music. The show focuses mostly on new music but also plays some older tunes by WA artists. The show covers a broad range of genres including, indie, rock, pop, folk, country, roots, R&B, Soul, EDM, HIP-HOP, Electronica and everything in between.

The main aim of the show is to showcase up and coming new artists from WA and help get their music heard. We also mention any live shows the artists have coming up to try to get more people to support live music in Perth.
Most weeks on the show you will hear new music that is not yet released as many local acts allow us to premiere their new music. We also generally have 1-2 guests on the show to have a chat about their new release and sometimes we even have a live performance of the track in the studio.

Policy on requests: In The Scene is a speciality genre music program that has a specific music selection produced for presentation each week. With each episode being prepared in advance, the format of the show does not lend itself to requests. We may from time to time be able to accept a song request, but it will be an exception only.
