The City of Gosnells is hosting a series of workshops to give local community groups, sporting clubs and not-for-profit organisations a helping hand.
Community groups, sporting clubs and not-for-profit organisations are the glue that sticks communities together. These workshops have been tailored to equip people volunteering with these groups or working in the not-for-profit sector with the skills and knowledge they need to build their capacity.
The first workshop will cover board and management committee roles and responsibilities. It will take place from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday 26 February at Homestead Park Centre, Thornlie.
The second workshop will offer an introduction to using AI for marketing, grants and meetings, and will take place from 6pm to 8pm on Monday 7 April at the Thornlie Park Centre.
The final workshop will explore fundraising beyond government grants and alternate funding strategies for community and sporting organisations. It will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday 11 June at the Thornlie Park Centre.
