The City of Gosnells’ Switch Your Thinking Team is delivering an Energy Efficiency Pilot Program, to implement energy efficiency across the City of Gosnells.
The Pilot Program will support residents and small to medium-sized businesses by providing accessible energy efficiency education.

Do It Yourself Energy Audits
Audit kits are available for loan for free from all City of Gosnells Libraries. Each kit includes:
- Thermal imaging camera to help locate draughts and gaps in insulation, checking fridge seals and measuring hot water temperature.
- Plug-in energy monitor for measuring energy consumption and the running costs of appliances.
- Basin flow measuring cup to determine the water flow rate of your taps.
- Thermometer for measuring temperatures of rooms, fridges and freezers.
- Document case containing an energy audit kit instruction manual and other useful resources to help improve sustainability.

Free Business Workshops
Free workshops are held online. Switch Your Thinking will run a series of energy efficiency workshops for groups that will focus on energy saving tips for small to medium sized groups/businesses.

Free Full-Day Carbon Accounting Training
Free training is held in person. Switch Your Thinking will hold two full day (9am to 4pm) Carbon Accounting Training sessions in April and May. These sessions will focus on explaining carbon accounting, why it is important and how you can implement simple measures into your group/business. The training sessions are fully catered with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, as well as tea and coffee.
